Trevor Zimmerman

Trevor was born and raised in Calgary and joined Edge School in 2025. He supports students in the Summit Centre and throughout the school in a variety of roles, working as both an educational assistant and a substitute teacher. Prior to joining Edge, Trevor taught with Golden Hills School Division and Rocky View School Division. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Counselling and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Calgary.

Since graduation, Trevor has worked with students in a wide range of capacities, including teaching and coaching, summer camps director, supporting transitional housing and youth shelter programs, participating in construction projects in Mexico with teens, and working in youth tutoring and drop-in centres. He is passionate about engaging students in their learning and is committed to supporting and encouraging their success in their studies, sport and beyond.
