Tuition and fees cover the exceptional student-athlete experiences, integrated teaching and coaching, and resources not covered by government grants and philanthropy. These unique aspects of an Edge School education ensure that we fulfill our mission to build a culture of personal excellence in academics, athletics, and character.
Annual tuition fees for Alberta residents are as follows:
|Grades 4 – 6||$18,230 *
|Grades 7 – 12||$19,350 *
|Student Activity Fee||$650|
Edge families are now part of building a legacy for the school and its students through a new endowment fund that will provide income for years to come. Contributions to the endowment help to ensure sustainability for Edge School and exceptional learning and training experiences for future generations of Edge student-athletes.
An annual contribution to this Endowment Fund has been added to fees beginning in 2021-22. Each family shall be required to contribute 4% of the first (eldest) child’s net tuition, and 2% of each additional child’s net tuition. Families will be issued donation tax receipts for these Endowment Fund contributions. More information on the new Endowment Fund can be found on our website here.
Students who are non-residents of Alberta, or students who are in Alberta by virtue of a Canadian Study Permit are not eligible for the Alberta Subsidy for Resident Students. Consequently, these students must assume the total cost of education for each year they attend Edge School.
Families with more than one child attending Edge School are eligible for a sibling discount of 10% for the second oldest child, and 15% each for the third oldest and additional children. Families receiving student awards funding are not eligible for this discount.
If school fees are paid in full by March 1, 2021, there will be an early bird credit of $700 applied to your school fees total.
We recognize that an independent school education requires a significant financial commitment. Through the work of the Edge School Foundation, we have a Student Awards Program to assist qualified students through need-based Opportunity Awards and merit-based Achievement Awards.
