Team Program

We currently have six Edge Mountaineer hockey teams (U18 Prep, U18 Female Prep, U17 Prep, U16 Prep, U15 Prep and U15), which compete in multiple regional, provincial, national and international tournaments. We are a proud member of the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL).

For schedules, rosters and statistics please visit the CSSHL website.

The Mountaineers play an average of 50 games in league, tournament and exhibition games in Alberta, Canada and the United States. A major component of our skill academy and team program is player promotion and future placement. Teams experience continual exposure to CHL, NCAA, U SPORTS and ACAC coaches and scouts. Through travel opportunities, student-athletes are introduced to North American colleges and universities with respected hockey programs. Edge also organizes and hosts tournaments and exhibition games strategically to enhance scouting potential.

The Edge hockey team program balances athletics, academics, and character development to ensure that each student-athlete can achieve personal excellence.

The team program is both comprehensive and competitive, with a goal of continually improving players skills and abilities. Teams typically practice on-ice three to four times a week, in addition to two to three strength and conditioning sessions.
