Tim Lindberg’s athletic lifestyle originated in Thunder Bay, Ontario where he began participating in a variety of athletics at an early age. He spent the majority of his childhood and adolescence involved in the development of his hockey skills within the Thunder Bay Minor Hockey Association. He was fortunate enough to be a member of the Portage Terriers Junior A hockey club in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League and was a 1st Team MJHL All-Star. He spent two seasons there when he was then offered a full ride Division I hockey scholarship to Northern Michigan University in the CCHA. Tim then went on to complete an undergraduate degree at the University of Calgary while a member of the CIS men’s hockey team.
Tim has been teaching various subjects and grade levels since 2007. Those subjects include Math, Science, Physical Education, Construction, Technology and Learning and Literacy to Grades 4-9. He has completed his Hockey Alberta Development 1 and numerous Skills Certifications and has had the luxury of coaching youth hockey players at various levels in Canada, USA and in Europe.
When not at Edge School, Tim is actively coaching and developing hockey players within the Calgary area. Tim is looking forward to supporting students in the classroom and on the ice in the Hockey Skill Academy.
