Kurtis Foote

Kurtis joined the Edge Golf Team Program in Fall 2025 in a full-time capacity after supporting the program part-time for the prior three years.

Originally from Edmonton, Kurtis was raised in a military family, which provided him the opportunity to grow up across Canada and Europe. These experiences fostered a broad perspective and deep appreciation for diverse cultures, traditions and ways of life.

Kurtis brings 27 years of golf industry experience as a member of the PGA of Canada (Alberta Zone). Throughout his career, he has served as Lead Associate Professional at several premier facilities, including the Calgary Elks (now The Winston Golf Club), Lakeside Greens, and Earl Grey Golf Club. He later advanced into Head Golf Professional roles at Woodside Golf Course and Country Hills Golf Club.

In 2022, Kurtis founded Squid Golf Consulting, offering services in golf facility operations consulting, coaching and instruction, and business development. That same year, he partnered with Valley Ridge Golf Club as their Head Teaching Professional.

Kurtis is deeply committed to coaching, athlete development, and growing the game through high-level instruction and mentorship.
