Alison Goodman

Alison is an experienced and dynamic leader and teacher with a proven ability to inspire and guide teams to success. Over the last 17 years for the CBE, taught from Grade 3 to Grade 9, specifically, she taught a lot of physical education at the junior high and elementary levels.

Education:

• Bachelor of Kinesiology at Wilfrid Laurier University (2004) and Bachelor of Education at the University of Windsor (2006)
• Played hockey for Laurier (2000-2004) for four years. During her last year, she also played soccer for WLU.
• In 2005-06, Alison played her fifth year of hockey at the University of Windsor.

After University: 

• Brampton Thunder (CWHL) 2005
• Strathmore Rockies (WWHL) 2008-2010

Awards and Achievements:

• Nominee – CIS Women’s Athlete of the Year – 2004
• Wilfrid Laurier University – Female Athlete of the Year – 2004
• Inductee – Wilfrid Laurier University Sports Hall of Fame – 2009
