Laural Armstrong

Hi there, I’m Laural Armstrong (or Ms. Armstrong, if you’re one of the kiddos!). I am unapologetically a geek at heart and happiest when I’m surrounded by those who are equally curious, quirky, and full of wonder. Honestly, nothing delights me more than meeting someone who can out-geek me; it doesn’t happen often, but when it does, it’s pure magic!

I’ve been an Alberta teacher for over 10 years, working primarily in high school math and science. Math is truly my happy place, though science (particularly physics) absolutely has a special corner of my heart too. (Fortunately, we have such an amazing physics teacher here, that my physics skills are simply not needed, so it’s Math all the way!)

Outside of the classroom, I treasure the simple things: time with family, a great board game, deep nerdy conversations, or just a quiet moment with a warm cup of tea and a good book. And thank you, my lovely human, for taking a moment to read a bit about me – I appreciate you.
