Move Mountains

March 4, 2026

The countdown is on! Edge School’s Move Mountains 2026 is Wednesday, March 4.

This annual fundraising event joins the entire Edge School community to benefit our student-athletes.

This year, we hope to raise $70,000 to purchase a new playground for all our student-athletes to enjoy in our school courtyard.

You may also choose to donate to our Financial Aid Program. These funds help student-athletes attend Edge School who otherwise would not have the opportunity to do so.

How it works is that each member of each mountain team – student-athletes, parents, teachers, staff, and other donors – donate money to their mountain team, which earns points for every donation and total dollars raised per mountain team.

Ways to Donate

EVERY DONATION COUNTS!

Help us achieve our fundraising goals and help each Mountain Team earn more points.

What is Move Mountains?

Each year, the Edge School community comes together to take part in Move Mountains, our largest annual fundraiser! Edge Mountain Teams – Everest, Kilimanjaro, Logan, and Makalu – will compete for the largest number of donations, earning a point for every donation made and the total dollars raised.

Move Mountains is a day that celebrates the Edge Mountaineer culture of community and care for others. Donations are credited to each Mountain Team and directed to the Equipment & Facilities Funds and Edge School Foundation Financial Aid.

Since 2017, the Edge community has generously donated over $628,000 to Move Mountains. These funds have been invested in many different ways around the school:

-Updating the Learning Commons (2017)

-Purchasing new equipment, and athlete assessment and movement velocity devices to advance training in the Duckett Performance Centre (2018)

-Purchasing new water bottle filling stations (2019)

-Updating classroom technology (2019)

-Supporting financial aid assistance (2017-2025)

-Change room upgrades (2021)

-Sound system improvements in the main office, gym, and DPC (2021)

-Purchase of two, 10+ Passenger Vans and a new Projector and Sound System for the Learning Commons (2022)

-Water bottle fulling station in the DPC, crash matts for our phys ed program, and new training and exercise equipment in the DPC (2024)

-New equipment for the DPC, a new water filling station, Mountain Team signage in the cafeteria (2025)

Thank you for helping us Move Mountains for Edge student-athletes!
