Mike Stevens

Mike Stevens started at Edge in August, 2020 after spending a little more than 10 years as a Head Coach at the post-secondary level. He previously spent the last four years as the Men’s Basketball Head Coach at Olds College. Before that, he spent seven years as Head Coach at SAIT Polytechnic. It was there that he garnered Coach of the Year honors as well as leading the Trojans to a CCAA national silver medal. In addition to the national medal, Mike has collected an ACAC gold, two ACAC silver medals, and two ACAC bronze medals at the post-secondary level.

Working to develop players in the basketball community has always been a big passion for Stevens. He has spent time with Alberta Basketball as the U17 Boys Coach, U14 Boys Zone Coach, and Head Coach of the Canada Basketball Centre for Performance in Alberta. Along the way, he has competed in two Canada Summer games and captured gold at the Alberta Summer Games.
