Adam Stuart

An Edge graduate and former six-year Mountaineer, Adam began his coaching career right here as an assistant with our U18 Prep program alongside James Poole. He then moved on to the BCHL, serving as an assistant coach with the Cranbrook Bucks, before spending four seasons in the CSSHL with NAX – finishing as their U15 Director and U15 Prep Head Coach. Adam is widely respected for his ability to connect with players and bring out their best, both on the ice and in the classroom.

Adam built the NAX U15 team into a very strong program with a record of 67-12-3-5 over three seasons, winning back-to-back CSSHL U15 Championships in 2023 and 2024. In 2024/25 with U15 Prep, he led the team to a 33-3 record and division best 97 points en route to a CSSHL Western Championship finals appearance.

“I’m really excited to be coming home to my alma mater,” says Stuart. “Edge helped shape me into the man I am today. While playing U18 AAA hockey here, I had some incredible coaches and role models who left a lasting impact.”
