Student Awards

Student Awards

Our alumni tell us their experiences at the Edge School were life changing. Unfortunately, for some students and their families, the finances of an independent school education can be a significant barrier. Each year, over 30% of Edge students qualify to receive some level of financial assistance to offset tuition costs.

The Edge Foundation Student Awards Program provides need-based awards to new and continuing students. The majority of student awards program funds are directed to financial aid through Opportunity Awards, with priority given to students currently receiving an award. Achievement Awards recognize the exceptional student achievement throughout the school year.

Edge School Foundation Opportunity Awards

The Edge School Opportunity Award fund was established by the Edge School Foundation Board of Directors, and is made possible through the support of generous donors including Edge School families and alumni. These awards are given to students requiring financial assistance who exhibit sound academic and athletic achievement, good character, and a capacity to make a worthwhile contribution to the School.

The Student Awards Application Form must be completed annually for continuing students and submitted by January 31. New student applications will be considered beginning February 1.

Opportunity Awards are awarded based on acceptable academic standing, with financial need as the primary requirement.
