Micki DuPont

Head Coach, U15 Prep

Micki DuPont joined Edge in September, 2020. He is a former professional hockey player with 19 years of playing experience – playing in over 1,200 games in North American and European hockey leagues. Micki also represented Team Canada on 13 different occasions, including donning the red and white in the Spengler Cup Tournament six times.

  • In 2000, was named CHL Defenceman of the Year and WHL Western Conference Player of the Year.
  • Won a Calder Cup Championship with the Saint John Flames in 2001.
  • Won two Deutsche Eishockey League (DEL) Championships with Eisbaren Berlin in 2005 and 2006.
  • Named Humanitarian of the Year in 2001-02 with Saint John for his work with the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, and with local hospitals and schools.
  • Served as a team captain with four different teams in the WHL, AHL and DEL.
  • Led Edge U15 team to first-ever CSSHL League Championship in 21/22.
