What is Edge School Programming Spring Hockey?

Edge is pleased to offer a 9 week Spring Hockey Program, running from April 9 to June 9, 2018. The Spring Hockey Program features two distinct developmental streams; Skill Academy and Team Consulting. Both of these streams are coached by our own Edge School full-time (and fully certified) staff.   All The Program is for 2011-2004 born players (Timbit to Pee Wee).

Our Skill Academy Program is a 9 week program focusing on skill development and IQ. Skill Academy Development is a non-team based development program which allows players to participate in other spring sports. On and off-ice sessions run two times per week, while four Super Saturday 3-On-3 ice times are also included. This is a great program for the multi-sport athlete.

Our Team Consulting Program focuses on skill development and provides expert Edge coaching to pre-existing spring teams. On and off-ice sessions are suggested two times per week, in addition to team practices and exhibition game/tournament play.  Program adjustments can be made to fit your needs.  For more information please contact Chris Chisamore (cchisamore@ilearn.edgeschool.com).

An email from one of our Spring Hockey parents:

“My son, played with (one of your teams) this year. It was our first time in the Edge program and despite (some of the game results) had the best season of his 6 years in hockey.   He spoke of many concrete ways the coaches helped him improve however, the most significant factor was their amazing outlook and unfailing encouragement. The only time he saw the coaches angry was when our team took a couple bad penalties and they made it clear that disrespectful play was unacceptable – a message we fully support! It’s difficult to put into words how grateful I am for the care and mentorship the coaches provided in such a short amount of time.  It not only increased his confidence but it also renewed his love of the game and his love of ‘team’.  Priceless.”
