Edge School (Calgary) – Founded in 1999 and now located in a 170,000 sq.ft. school and sports complex facility for students-athletes in Grades 4-12. Students can enroll in Basketball, Hockey, Dance, Golf, Soccer, Figure Skating, Multi-Sport or our Flex Academy.

Enrollment: Edge School (Calgary) – Approximately 330 students are enrolled.

Class Sizes & Ratio: Average class size is 16-20 students.

Grades: Offering Grades 4-12.

Academics: Grades are based on a percentage scale. The school year is comprised of four terms within two semesters.

Athletics: We offer skill academy programs in basketball, dance, figure skating, fitness, golf, hockey, soccer, multi-sport as well as a Flex Academy for students training in other sports.  Edge Mountaineers participate actively in the ISAA program which allows students to play sports such as Track and Field, Volleyball, Soccer and Basketball.

Admissions: Admission deadline is rolling. 

Financial Aid: Financial aid provides assistance with tuition fees based solely on a family’s financial need.

Alumni: Over 650 Edge graduates are now continuing their passion for sport and leadership. Many are attending universities all over North America including Harvard, Yale, and Princeton to name a few.

Facilities: Edge School is a 170,000 square foot facility, built in 2008 with complete academic amenities and a state-of-the-art sports complex. The Jim Davidson Sports Complex is a world-class athletic, recreational and community-use facility. Inside this 90,000 sq. ft. complex you will find 2 NHL-sized arenas, Founders & Alumni Lounge, gymnasium with 2 NBA-sized courts, high-performance training centre, 3 professional dance studios, golf centre and a sports medicine clinic.

Governance: The Edge School Society was founded in 1999. It is a non-profit charitable organization governed by a Board of Directors. Our charitable number is 865586747 RT0001.

The Edge School Foundation was established as the fundraising body for the school. It is governed by a Board of Directors that secures friends and funds through building relationships to support the Edge School in areas such as programs, scholarships, financial aid, endowment and capital campaigns.
